Mel needs to be represented today too; doesn't she look sweet and beautiful? (No? Well, don't worry, she's not emo.) The lock in her face just -- happened. This little room is where she lives since we got high speed... (In truth, we are updating together, and we've argued about what to put on each picture. So consider these additions a joint venture! ;-} )

Thanks for posting, gals!

She doesn't look Emo, sillies. She would need to have black hair, really dark eye makeup, black clothes that fit very strangely and no smile. Sorry, not even close.

Alisa, as I was sitting here looking at this blog (and much enjoying it, I might add), I noticed that your comment popped up. We are commenting at the same time. Isn't that cool that from different parts of the world we can write on the same space. Though it does not compare with being together, it definitely makes you feel a little closer. :)

Mom and Mel: Excellent work on the blogging. These new additions are wonderful and I hope this and the high speed internet means that we will see much more much sooner. Eh?

Oh, and maybe this shows how out of the loop I am, but what the is emo?

Ben I think we are not around teenagers enough, but I think I figured from what Alisa said that it is basically a mix between what we called goth and punk. Is that right?

thanks for the new posts! They are all great! I hope you didn't feel threatened by my email asking to see some new posts... I just can't get enough! I'll have to come home sometime with Ethan and have him meet all my silly friends! He would enjoy that! Love you all...

AJ, you're right. That's pretty much what it is. Ben, you know that music I told you Nathan listens to? It's called "Emotional punk" but for short they call it Emo. It's less Goth and more punk. Maybe I'll post a picture of someone Emo... :)

BTW. I have seen a lot of people that dress and look emo (is that the correct usage), I just didn't know the term. There are tons of them in Provo and Orem, you can't miss them at the mall.

well i think everyone sort of has their own opinion of EMO so you can interpret it however you choose. Ocassionally as just a joke, my friends and i refer to hair in out faces as EMO bt we aren't really! thats where the whole thing came from i think. Muah i love you all tons!
